In our time, the human factor in the competitive environment in which the firms producing products and services continue their operations has become an important factor. Therefore, the commitment of the employees to the organization is a deterministic facto for the survival and continuance of a firm.In this study, the commitment to the organization among the employees working in the branches of a bank operating in Turkey, to evaluate the employees working in the boundary units and internal units; and also the commitments of these employees were compared according to the demographic features. First of all, a literature study was conducted on the organization concept. The definition, classification of the organization, and the organizational principles were stated. Then the boundary and internal units as the main point of the study have been defined, and the units of a business entity have been indicated. In the subsequent section, the literature study was conducted for the organizational commitment as the dependant variable of the study. In the methodology section, the results of all researches are attempted to be supported with the questionnaire data.In conclusion, the expression ?there are differences between the commitments of the employees working in the boundary units and the internal units? could not be verified with the questionnaire results. And the other hypothesis ?the commitment to organization show differences in accordance with the demographic characteristics? has been proved to provide meaningful differences. According to the questionnaire results evaluated with SPSS Program, the hypothesis was verified from the perspectives of some sub variables.
