6.SUMMARY A doubly-periodic function, which is meromorphic in the open z-plane is called an elliptic function. The Theta functions can be represented in infinite product as oo ha = v/4ii(i-927i)a+92n)2> n=l *(*) = nc^^Ki + q2`-1)2, n=l oo W*) = II(i-92n)(l-92`~1)2 n=i The set of all Möbiüs transformations of the form ar + 6 r = cr + d where a,b,c,d are integers with ad - be = 1, is called the modular group and is denoted by T. The group can be represented by 2 x 2 integer matrices A = {, J with detA =1. T is generated by two transformations, Tr - r + 1 and St = - ~. A function /(r) is said to be a modular form of degree - r If it satisfies the following three conditions: a)/(r) is meromorphic in the upper half-plane H. b)f(Mr) = e(M)(cr + d)rf{r) for every M = ( * * J ? T, r ? R. c)The Fourier expansion of /(r) has the form oo Dedekind Eta function is defined in the half-plane H by the equation oo r}(T) = e^ J] (l - e2TT) n=l The infinite product has the form n(l ~ *n) where x = e2,rs'r.If rÇİ/ then /x/ < 1 so the product converges absolutely and ts nonzero. 30(-) G T and c > 0 we have log V ( c7+rf ) = İ0g ^ + T i İ2c` + ^~rf' CM + 2 l°g ^~^CT + d^ This trasformation is proved by Apostol. s(-d,c) is called Dedekind sum. Dedekind sums are defined by the equation *»-£(G))(fiF)) where h, k ? Z, A: > 0, (h, k) = 1. The following relations between Theta functions, 0r, r = 2, 3,4 and r)(r) are satisfied. Iog02(r).= Iog2 + 21og??{2r)-logrç(r) log 03(r) = ^ + 2 log 7 (^-ğ-j ~ log v(T) loge4(r) = 2 log ??(-)- log >?fr) These relations were proved by Barner (1985). Hecke introduced the discontinuous groups G (jXq) generated by the trans formations Tr = - 1/r and St = r + Xq where / = 2 cos -, q £ Z and q > 3. The case q = 3 give rise to the classical modular group T generated by St = r + 1 and Tr = -l/r. In this work we firstly proved the relations log 03 (*±*) = log 03 (^) + 7Tİ(s(/», *) - 2s{h,2k)) - log z log 04 (*£*) = log 04 (^) + jri(5(/», *) - 2s(A,2fc)) - f log z log 02 (^) = log 02 (^J - iti (%&) + iriWA, *) - &(/», */2)) - f log * and then constructed a systematic method for finding multiplier systems correspond ing to the forms zero for each of the Hecke groups G{yjriî), m = 2,3. 31.

S.OZET Çifte periyodik ve meromorf fonksiyona eliptik fonksiyon denir. Theta fonksiy onlarının sonsuz çarpım ifadeleri, oo n-l oo.m = na-?2n)(l+?2n`1)2' n=l oo **(*) = n(i-?2n)a-92n_1)2 şeklindedir. a, b, c, d ? Bu çalışmada ilk olarak, log 03 (^) = log 63 ( ^) + 7rı(S(ft, fc) - 2s{h, 2k)) - § log z log 04 (^) = log 04 (^) + ıri(s(h, k) - 2s(A, 2fc)) - log z log 02 (^) = l°g ©2 (^) - tt^' (^) + «W A, *) - 2s(h, k/2)) - log z bağıntıları bulundu. 29.
