This study was prepared at the University of stanbul Institute of Sciences, ForestEngineering Department, Program of Forest Botany as a master thesis entitled ? Floraand Vegetation of Bursa Urban Forest?.Urban Forest is at the northern of Uludağ. According to Grid system of Turkey, it isincluded in A2(A) square. It has located between 350-650 m. altitude.According to the diagnosis of the plant, 244 taxa which belong to 176 genera and 67families were determined. 72 taxa ( %29.50 ) of these plants belong to Euro-Siberianphytogeographical region, while 22 ( %9.01) to Mediterranean, 2 (%0.8 ) to Iran -Turanian, and 146 ( %60.65 ) are widely distrubited and unknown. Although the UrbanForest is at the transition zone between Euro-Siberian and Mediterranean regions, ingeneral it is under the influence of Euro-Siberian flora region. The number of endemic plant species in the Bursa Urban Forest is 15 and the ratio ofthese to the total number of taxa is % 6.14. In adition 8 taxa are new records for A2(A)square.16 sample plots were taken from the research area to study vegetation structure of thearea. Association tables were constructed by using Braun-Blanquet method. By the helpof association tables, 6 forest community were determined.viii.

Bu çalışma, .Ü. Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Orman Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı OrmanBotaniği Programında ? Bursa Kent Ormanı'nın Florası ve Vejetasyonu? adı altında,yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır.Kent Ormanı Uludağ'ın kuzeyinde bulunmaktadır. Alan, Türkiye'nin grid sisteminegöre A2(A) karesinde yer almaktadır. 8 adet takson A2(A) karesi için yeni kayıttır.
