The economic policy in the early years of the Republic was based on planned developmentstrategy. This strategy at its peak point in 1930s could be developed in democratic Westerncountries only after the 2nd World War.The economy policy in the early years of the Republic bears many exemplary characteristicsfor the world just like the Turkish Independence war , Management of the Army, establishment and actuation of the democratic system and international policy: the worldwidespread of these aspects will save a lot of time for humanity and the sources will bu used inmore economically and efficiently. If we summerize the basic characteristics of the financial policy in the early years of theRepublic Mustafa Kemal particularly emphasized on the strength of the State Treasury. Forthis reason the state budgets have to be balanced and if possible with surplus. The staterevenues have to be increased parallel to increase in the income of people. He suggests thatall taxes having negative effects on economy and production have to be abolished. Hebelieves that money will not be able to keep its value under conditions when treasury incomeis less than the outcome ; for this reason budget balance is a principal which has to beprotected unconditionally. After the long and hard Independence War ended with victory the leaders of the war led byMustafa Kemal seeked an answer to this basic question :? How can Turkey develop, whatkind of a policy has to be conducted for welfare of people within the shortest possible time? The basic object of our study is based on this question. The economic policy in the earlyyears of the Republic was based on planned development strategy. This strategy at its peakpoint in 1930s could be developed in democratic Western countries only after the 2nd WorldWar.Because of these reasons ,the opinions brought in recent years ,like ?the revolutions in theearly years of the Republic are revolutions in superstructure, they do not bearnovelty, everything was just done for the needs of country and they did not originate aneconomical doctrin or philosophy ? have nothing to do with reality Like all revolutions of theRepublic economical revolution also had the aim of changing Turkish society radically andto contemporize her. Most probably there is an economical revolution having equivalencewith other revolutions .
