This study has been carried out to determine the relation between quality of life and physical activity levels of the students that study at the departments of teaching; and to research the relationship between these two concepts in terms of departments and accommodation. 391 pupils in total, 212 girls ( =21.6±1.78) and 179 boys ( =22.21±1.79), at departments of teaching have been included in the survey. In this study, World Health Organisation Quality of Life ? Brief Form (WHOQOL-BREF), translated by Fidaner et.al. (1999) was used to measure the pupils? quality of life; and International Physical Activity Inventory (IPAQ), translated by Öztürk (2005), was used to measure the physical activity levels. While analysing the data, identifying statistics, as well as Pearson Correlation Coefficient, ANOVA; and T test and Multi-Dimensional Regression were used for Independent samplings. A meaningful and positive relation between physical activity level and body space of the health related quality of life has been found in all of the students (p<.05) and it has been found that physical activity level has a determining influence on the body space of quality of life. While the physical activity level did not vary according to gender (p<.05), it has been determined that it varied positively for men (p<.05). In addition to that, it has been found that the physical activity level in female students has a determining role on the body space of quality of life (p<.001), differing from that of men. Both the physical activity levels (p<.001) and quality of life (p<.05) of the students studying at Department of Physical Education and Sports has been found to be meaningfully higher than the students that study in the other departments of teaching (p<.001). The physical activity levels of the students studying at all Education Departments has been found to have a determining role on their body space of quality of life (p<.05). While there was no meaningful difference in terms of physical activity levels of the students according to where they live (p>.05), physical, social, environmental and environmental space TRs of those living in houses or flats have been found to be higher (p<.001). Although the physical activity level of the students living in houses/flats has a determining influence on their body space of the quality of life (p<.05); there is no such finding in the students living in dormitories. The results of this study indicate that there is a meaningful relation between physical activity level and body space of the quality of life and that the relation between the spaces of quality of life and physical activity level varies depending on the gender, department of study and place of living.Key Words: Quality of life, physical activity.
