MU-MIMO BEAMFORMING EMERGING COOPERATION FOR 5G WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEMWaeal Sami AL-OBAIDIErciyes University, Graduate school of Natural and Applied SciencesM. Sc. Thesis, January 2020Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Cebrail ÇİFLİKLİABSTRACTFifth Generation (5G) of the wireless network must solve the problem of the limitations of the wireless spectrum shared by the multi-users exponential increase of the data traffic in the next years. Recently, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems have become one of the key technologies that provide higher spectral efficiency in a multi-user environment. However, the advantages offered by multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems come at the expense of increasing the physical layer complexity, which caused by deploying multiple antennas that needs a processing method to overcoming the co-channel interferences (CCI) problem. A pre-equalization stage called precoding or digital beamforming is used in the MU-MIMO system to enhance the network's coverage and range in co-channel interference and fading environments. This technique can also eliminate or reduces the main problem of MU-MIMO, which is CCI. One of the MU-MIMO features which can bring to the system is diversity. Diversity is generated by transmitting signals from different locations, thus allowing independently faded versions of the signal at the receiver. We incorporated a will known transmitting method called cooperative communication in multi antenna system, cooperative communication based on simple idea is that mobiles in a multi-user scenario can `share` their antennas, that can increase the number of the independent copies of signal, consequently, the diversity in the system will increase in interesting way by employing as few antennas as possible. Keywords: 5G, Beamforming, Cooperation, MU-MIMO, SLR, OSIC, AF, CCI.

5G KABLOSUZ İLETİŞİM AĞLARINDA MU-MIMO SİSTEMİ İÇİN HÜZMELEME VE İŞBİRLİKLİ YAPININ KULLANILMASIWaeal Sami AL-OBAIDIErciyes Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri EnstitüsüYüksek Lisans Tezi, Ocak 2020Danışman: Prof. Dr. Cebrail ÇİFLİKLİÖZETGelecek yıllarda veri trafiğinin katlanarak artması ve çoklu kullanıcılar tarafından paylaşılan kablosuz spektrumun sınırlamaları, 5. Nesil (5G) radyo erişim teknolojisinin tasarımına meydan okumaktadır. Son on yılda, çoklu kullanıcı çoklu giriş çoklu çıkış (MU-MIMO) sistemler daha yüksek spektral verimlilik sunan kilit teknolojilerden biri haline gelmiştir.
