hvan-ı Safa who preferred to continue his study secretly because he worried about that thestatesmen of this period may have followed his study and may have been displeased his study in10th century in pertaining to the birth of Christ, mentioned his ideas about love and beauty inRisa?ilü hvan-ı Safa. hvan-ı Safa accepted love was a strong desire to felt for becoming unitedafter he criticized that was claimed love was illness like madness. The love, grew with eyecontacts, occurred to be alone with a lover and a beloved, with to kiss each other and to be onein two bodies. Also the beauty was some of paints, embroideries and pictures according tohvan-ı Safa who thought the love of divine wisdom belonged to the human nature. The aims ofthe love and beauty were to save the human?s spirit from ignorance and somnolence and to drillit. If person?s desire to love and beauty became together with the knowledge and idea, thebeauty could be guide and the love also could increase the rate of desire. This increasecontinued until the end, because The God was the first beloved. All of alive turned to the Godand desire him. The love caused to become united for to continue the generation in hvan-ı Safa.Yet, always a condition like beauty was not searched. When the desire and the love cometogether, they provide to live two generations. bni Sina and hsan-ı Safa had same idea aboutlove. But on the contrary hvan-ı Safa, bni Sina thoughts all of dulls had the feelings of lovelike all of alive. The first existence was the love for bni Sina. The love meant existence and the existence wasthe love. The first existence symbolized the favor because of the personality. Whoever couldfind the favor, he loved another because for bni Sina, the favor caused the love.Generally inbni Sina?s works, the beauty meant the favor. But bni Sina used the beauty for only beautifulexistences instead of using general meanings of beauty like hvan-ı Safa. According to bniSina, the beauty of figure symbolized the beauty of character and the beauty of charactersymbolized the favor. When the people meet a good figure, if they think it is appropriatecharacter and they love him/her, they can reach the end. Not only bni Sina but also hvan-ı Safaaccepted that the beauty is source and the intelligence is its tool. Thus, why people have thesense of love and beauty is to become adult. Actually, the aim of love for bni Sina was that toapproach the god and even to resemble the god. Furthermore, it is recognized that the aim of thebeauty is to approach The God.
