After the First World War, dictatorial regimes came to the fore in the states like Germany, Italy and Spain. These states took Japan into their own Axis blocks. They started the world war II. Although the US politically tried to avoid the war by adopting the Monroe Doctrine, this isolated policy did not last long. The United States, which displayed a harsh attitude towards the dictatorship, seized Japan's Manchurian occupation as a threat to itself and suppressed Japan. In response, Japan bombed the Hawaiian islands of the United States with the Pearl Harbor raid. This raid broke the neutrality of the United States and caused it to joined the war with the Allies.Supporting the Allies in every sense, especially the `Aid Laws` in the United States, became one of the most important states in World War II. He fought to the end of the defeat of Germany and Japan both at diplomatic conferences and at the fronts he fought. As a result, the Allies block succeeded. Following the surrender of Germany, the United States ended the war by throwing two atomic bombs against to Nagasaki and Hiroshima in the face of Japan's resistance on 7th May, 1945. In this study, it is aimed to study how the events influenced the Turkish press by taking advantage of the other newspapers, especially Cumhuriyet Newspaper, and the developments of the war fronts, the political policies followed by the USA, the conferences in which it participated, especially on 7th December 1941. In line with this objective, although the newspapers were used, archive documents, parliamentary minutes, related books, theses and articles were utilized.
