In this research, the issues of social gender and career choice are discussed. It is an idea that individuals are an essential concept that determines attitudes, behaviours, responsibilities and roles in addressing gender issues. The other research topic is career choice, and it has been considered vital because it has the ability to affect the life styles of individuals. There are two pain points of the research. First one is to determine the relationship between gender role perceptions and career choice. The second pain point is to determine whether there are differences in terms of gender, career choice and sub-dimensions according to demographic characteristics. In this direction, comparative research was conducted on the students of Kafkas University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Atatürk Health Services Vocational High School. As a result of the study, it is determined that there is no significant relationship between gender and career choice. However, it is seen that there is no meaningful relationship between the sub-dimensions of gender and the sub-dimensions of career choice, but there are significant relationships between the two dimensions. The findings of the study show that there are differences in terms of gender, economic situation, place of residence and income level among the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The students of Atatürk Health Services Vocational High School were not only different in terms of family order and place of residence. Significant differences in other demographic characteristics were determined.
