The concept of housing has existed throughout the history of humanity and is amultidimensional issue that will continue to exist as the need for housingcontinues. The most important part of the building stock in our cities, which isone of the architectural production forms, is the unit where the space-userrelationship is the deepest and most intimate. Housing; It has become a problemof many different variables such as population growth, migration movements, major disasters, economic changes and political events. The solution to thehousing problem has always been on the agenda of the state. At the beginning ofthese solutions are cooperative housing production. The first and most importantexamples of the solutions produced as a result of this problem, which is felt morein big cities, are also found in big cities. However, this process was sometimesexperienced at the same time or different time period in Anatolian cities. It isknown that the city of Afyonkarahisar, which was examined within the scope ofthe study, is an important settlement center in the historical process, and it is acity which has importance on its zoning in our country with the proclamation ofthe Republic. For this reason, the emergence of the cooperative houses of the cityand the location choices in the city level were examined in the context of theprinciples of cooperatives. In addition to the social, cultural, economic reasons that shape the housing, thereare many variables that affect the design of the residences in the context of theuser's lifestyle and cultural and social relations. Therefore, the examination ofperiod houses are constructed in the past is a way of understanding the culture. For this purpose, the method of the thesis was used as the method of space syntax.20 housing cooperative structures constructed between 1970-2000 inAfyonkarahisar city were examined with this method and their results weredetermined according to the determined criteria. As a result, similar problems and solutions have been observed in the city ofAfyonkarahisar in a similar way in the different period between 1970 and 2000in the context of the housing problem and solutions produced in the country. The results of the spatial analysis of the houses obtained through cooperatives wereaffected by the changes in society; it has led to changes in the basic parametersaffecting housing planning such as daily life rituals, hospitality hospitality andprivacy, and it has resulted in different results even in apartment houses that canbe considered as type.

Konut sorununa çözüm üretmek her zaman devletin gündemindeolmuştur.
