In this study,pleasure of primary school students in social sciences lesson?s effect on the students placement exam?s (SBS) social studies achievement test has been investigated.It has been found that how much effect there is the pleasure of the students in the social sciences lesson on the students? social sciences achievement,and in addition to that it has been determined the achievement of the students in the social sciences class whether was affected by the variables or not.It has been found out that whether the differences among these variables are meaningful or not.Descriptive factor analysis and realibility analysis have been carried out in order to identify the construct validity of the survey. A factor and confidence analysis is conducted in order to determine the structural validity of the survey utilized in this study. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) statistic is computed as 0.91 and the value internal consistency coefficient calculated for confidence study is observed as ? =0.93. the results related to confidence studies depict that survey has a confident structure.Significance was taken as p<05 Research findings and results are given below. It has been found that there aren?t significant difference among students? gender,their parents? education,class and school variables.Key words: Social sciences, Academic Achievement, SBS exam.

Bu çalışmanın amacı İlköğretim 7. Ve 8. Sınıf İlköğretim Öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler Dersindeki Memnuniyetlerinin Seviye Belirleme Sınavı'ndaki (SBS) Sosyal Bilgiler Test Başarısına Etkisi araştırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersindeki memnuniyetlerinin sosyal bilgiler ders başarısını ne yönde etkilediği, bununla birlikte öğrencilerin ders memnuniyetini etkileyen bazı değişkenler açısından ( okul, cinsiyet, anne- baba eğitim durumu, sınıf, sosyal net) değişip değişmediği belirlenmiştir. Bu değişkenler arasındaki farklılıkların anlamlı olup olmadığını açığa çıkarılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğini belirlemek amacıyla faktör ve güvenirlik analizleri yapılmıştır. KMO değeri 0,81 bulunmuş, güvenirlik çalışması için hesaplanan iç tutarlılık katsayısı (Cronbach alpha) değerinin ? =0.83 olduğu görülmüştür. Yapılan güvenirlik çalışmalarına ilişkin bulgular, ölçeğin güvenilir bir yapıya sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Analizlerde anlamlılık düzeyleri p<05 olarak alınmıştır. Araştırma bulguları ve sonuçları aşağıda verilmiştir.Öğrencilerin cinsiyet, anne, baba eğitim durumları, özel kursa gidip gitmemeleri, sınıf ve okul değişkenleri arasında anlamlı fark olmadığı görülmüştür.Anahtar kelimeler: Sosyal Bilgiler, Akademik Başarı, SBS Sınavı.
