Özet

The history of civilization has been a concept that has evolved many times in the West and East in terms of meaning worlds from the time it was first used in the process. Civilization is a reflection of a society's world view in many fields such as religion, knowledge, values, institutions. In the East, the most debated concept of the search for a solution to the supremacy of the colonial West was the other, while the other in the West was transformed from the other societies to other civilizations and to see civilization as barbarians. The greatest influence in the formation of civilizations and world views belongs to the religion.Seyyed Hossein Nasr, one of the important thinkers of the traditional school, is a high voice trying to meet the answers of Muslims in the face of the challenges of the West with his own understanding of religion and civilization. According to Seyyed Hossein Nasr, the challenges of the West must be met in the mind. This is to understand all aspects of the Western world of thought and to solve problems with our values called tradition.

Seyyid Hüseyin Nasr'a göre Batı'nın meydan okumaları zihnî alanda karşılanmalıdır. Bunun yolu, Batı'nın düşünce dünyasının bütün yönleriyle kavranması ve gelenek denilen değerlerimizle problemlerin çözülmesidir.
