Politics is one of the most significant instruments that can be used to solve problems that our country has been experiencing. Politics is basically composed by the ruler ? ruled relationship. For this very reason, regarding politicians as if they were the sole subjects of the politics is a fault approach. The role of other participants ? i.e. electors - in the politics is quite significant. Moreover, the existence of various powers that are struggling to control over the politics can not be denied. This present study is focused on one of the most important elements of the politics, the electors. The main objective is to present the regards, attitudes and perceptions of Turkish electors on politics with a multi ? dimensional perspective. Additionally, it is also aimed to reveal data on the current status of Turkish Political Culture and Political Participation Understanding. In order to achieve goals as stated above, firstly, a theoretical basis on politics, answering all possible ?question marks? has clearly been created. Then, in the applied part of the study, a poll consisted of 51 political questions had been conducted on the sampling group, which was consisted of 355 people living in Ankara. The findings of the study suggest that Turkish Electors generally do not trust the politics ? politicians; that the electors have doubts if the politicians represent their interests and because of this reason, the electors lean towards new political formations. Additionally it has been suggested by the findings that the electors are loyal to both the main values of the State, to the Republic and to the democracy. The main result that came out of our study aimed to present the regards, attitudes and perceptions of Turkish electors on politics with a multi ? dimensional perspective is that where as the Turkish Political Culture and Political Participation Understanding are not at the desired levels, they have been developing and electors are becoming more conscious as the time passes.
