In this study theoretical information relating to the control methods such as Model Predictive Control (MPC) of Direct Torque Control and Indirect Field Oriented Control based Three Phase Squirrel Cage Induction Motor were examined in detail. MRAS speed estimation method was used for sensorless control. Later, the simulations relating to these control methods of induction motor were implemented by Matlab/SIMULINK. In the literature it has been observed that the Predictive Torque Control and the Predictive Current Control were optimized by Euler method. Sampling time, which is the disadvantage of the Euler method, is emphasized and the disadvantage of sampling time is removed by optimization with 4th order Runge Kutta method. Also constant switching frequency is obtained for these control methods by using Space Vector Wave Amplitude Modulation based induction motor drive. Thanks to the constant switching frequency, strain of semiconductor IGBTs in the inverter and unnecessary harmonics were prevented.
