The Gaia Astrometric Mission which has been started to plan in 1995, finally, launched at December 19, 2013, after many regulations. Astronomers have very high expectations from this cornerstone project of ESA. In this thesis, among objects in a large variety and number which will survey by the Gaia, small bodies in the Solar System were just taken into consideration, and how can be done a preliminary preparation for data yields by the Gaia was investigated. In this context, at the beginning of the thesis, the basic information about formations, taxonomies, and structures of small bodies in the solar system was presented, and it was more focused on asteroids. Especially, the orbital properties of asteroids and the evolutionary results of their interactions with the Sun depending on their position in the orbit (Yarkovsky ve YORP) were given a particular attention. In this thesis, the structural, positional, and physical parameters of an asteroid (namely, 69 Hesperia) were determined by using of the photometrical and astrometric data which obtained for this thesis. These observations and analysis have been made to be prepared for Gaia Follow-Up Network (FUN) as a first step. As a result, in this thesis, a literature search on the observations of small bodies in the Solar System and their analysis was made, and the Gaia Mission that high precision data is expected was introduced. Keywords: Gaia, Minor Planets of the Solar System, Asteroids, the Yarkovsky and YORP Effects, Astrometry, Photometry.
