Özet

One of the important point of statistical inference is the representation ability of the sample of the population well enough. Bootstrap is a resampling method which depends on this idea. Efron (1979)? s bootstrap method works most of the situations when the observations are independent and identically distributed (iid). When the obsevations are dependent this method neglects the dependence structure of the population. There have been various works on the bootstrap method when the observations are dependent. One of the resampling methods which can reflect the dependence structure of the population is the Block Bootstrap methods . In this study these methods is going to be presented. Examples for the application of these methods are going to be given for the Markov Processes. And bootstrap method for stationary otoregressive time series is going to be given with an example.Key Words: m-dependent, stationary, -mixing, Moving Block Bootstrap, Nonoverlapping Block Bootstrap, Circular Block Bootstrap, Time Series.
