In this research, on the proliferation views that the post-2000 year dystopian narrative is trapped between science fiction and fantasy, some of the movies and TV series in this genre have been taken into examination. Dystopias are classified as utopias that have gone wrong, but they contain the utopia in them. The dystopian narrative type provides warning and libertarian solutions to the problems that may arise due to problems and deficiencies in the economic, social and sociopolitical fields of the future. Although scientific and technological advances can broaden the boundaries of dystopian narratives, the main motifs that need to be attributed are shaped by escape lines and solutions. The awakening of the main character to engage in fight against all kinds of technological or despotic closure and oppression opens up escape lines and revolutionary solutions that constitute the most basic qualities of the dystopian narrative. The fundamental difference between Dystopia and science fiction in research, in contrast to the cognitive alienating nature of science fiction, which has a non-objective part, a part which can only partly defend the status quo, and which can defend it, while the conceptual structures that allow a single extraction of distopia have been put forward. In the digital era that we are in, the proposals of an age determined by software engineers and experts, not by the rules and limits of despots, are supported by the explanations that visualize the scientific realities that become possible rather than the futuristic fantasies by the effect of the developing technology The conditions of our era, affecting the expansion of narrative limitations of dystopias in the past, it created a new and very challenging situation for the human being that needs to be traversed. This situation is examined in the historical process of the relationship between human and machine, the effects of scientific and technological developments on human existence are defined. Scientific and technological developments make it impossible for people to escape the escape lines of dystopia, The post-2000 year reviewing the productions of Matrix I and Black Mirror TV series, it has been researched to what extent these productions point to the structural characteristics of the dystopian concept and to what accuracy. Keywords: Dystopia, Utopia, Science Fiction.
