The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the strategic leadership behaviors of the private secondary school principals and the organizational health according to the teachers' views. The study was formed within the quantitative method and the correlational screening model. The population of the study was composed of 3340 teachers working at private schools in the term of 2017-2018, and the sample was composed of 345 teachers chosen among these teachers. During data collection, 357 teachers were reached for applying the questionnaire, but 317 questionnaires were assessed truly. As data collection tools, Strategic Leadership Scale, developed by Pisapia and adapted to Turkish by Aydın (2012), and Organizational Health Inventory, developed by Hoy and Miskel and adapted to Turkish by Cemaloğlu (2006, 2007a), were used. The research results show that the teachers' views towards the strategic leadership qualities of school principals is quite high and positive, whereas their views about the organizational health is positive but at an improvable level. Moreover, it was found that the teachers' views about the strategic leadership and the organizational health were not considerably affected by the factors of gender, branch, educational background, or the period of service. However, a significant difference was found among the teachers' views about the strategic leadership according to the factor of professional seniority, and the views about the organizational health according to the factor of age. Furthermore, a positive and high correlation was spotted between the organizational health and strategic leadership. Ultimately; the school principals' strategic leadership behaviours were found to be a strong predictor of the organizational health. In the light of these findings, it could be advised that in-service trainings should be provided for the school principals about strategic leadership and some activities and applications should be carried out in order to increase organizational health.
