In the scope of the thesis headed: `Digital Press Technology's Place in the Art of Painting`, it is intended to research the utilization of press technology in the art of painting. Because it can be seen that while artists are creating their work, they prefer technological techniques rather than traditional painting methods because of the technological era we live in. The mentioned selection makes some artists willingly and others unwillingly part of this impact. In this context, the digital press technology of the rapidly developing technologies is one of the methods frequently used in today's art of painting. For this reason, the notions of digital press technologies need to be researched and the examples of the topic digital press technologies reflections in the art of painting to be determined and the results of the comments to be compiled under a heading. It is considered that such a study will contribute to the relevant literature and will create a significant new source for the researchers in this field. In the research; examples of Western artists that created art between the years 1975-2015; Andreas Gefeller, Arnulf Rainer, Barbara Nessim, Catherine Yass, Gerhard Richter, Robert Rauschenberg and Victor Acevedo and also Turkish artists that created art; Atilla İlkyaz, Balkan Naci İslimyeli, Burhan Doğançay, Bedri Baykam, Devrim Erbil, Ekrem Kahraman and Mehmet Yılmaz are examined which showed digital press technology's influences. The chosen artists' work consistency on the research topic was a reference in their selection. In this general screening model based study, qualitative research methods and techniques are used. In order to obtain qualitative data, during the research process `document examination and interview` methods were used. During the interviews, as a data collection tool, `Artist Interview Form`, an audio recorder and a camera was used.Key Words: Art, Technology, Painting, Digital Press.
