This research study has been carried out in order to determine the contribution of active learning techniques used art studio in the Art Education Program to the artistic learning levels. Conducted through the use of a qualitative research method, this study was conducted as a part of the Art Education Program. The second year course, Art Studio, was included in the curriculum of the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Education in Pamukkale University. The research study was limited to the implementation of active learning techniques such as scope network, de bono (six thinks) hats system, creativity groups and collaborative learning techniques.The working group of the research was comprised of twelve participants selected among the second year students and two field experts, who have contributed to the study as independent observers. The working group was determined by using the `typical circumstances sampling` method. The data collected through the research were obtained by conducting focus group meetings with students and examining observations and documents (student products, self-evaluation inscriptions and the directive on the evaluation of artistic works). Three field experts took part in the assessment of the artistic works that were formed as a result of the process. The data obtained through the research have been examined by using the content analysis method. The validity and the reliability of the qualitative findings were confirmed with the help of two experts from the field apart from the researcher and through the application of internal-external validity and reliability studies.According to the results of the research, it has been concluded that the active learning techniques that have been used have been influential in increasing the variety of thinking skills during the process of the art studio courses and in the generation of new concepts and different ideas. It has also been determined that the concept network technique used as part of the research enabled in depth thinking, while the six thinking hats method helped generating multidimensional ideas on a single subject, creativity groups technique encouraged students towards divergent thinking through comparisons and association of ideas and finally the collaborative learning technique ensured that the students were forced to think and generate new ideas, which enabled diversifying ideas through interaction. Within this framework, planning to integrate the active learning techniques to the art studio and art classes within schools can be suggested while it may be recommended that a comprehensive training is provided for the candidates for visual arts teaching within the scope of the processes of their own courses.Key Words: Art Education, Artistic Learning, Creativity, Artistic Creations, Active Learning.

Bu araştırma Resim-iş Öğretmenliği Bölümü sanat atölye derslerinde, aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin sanatsal öğrenmeye katkılarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma, Pamukkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim-iş ABD. 2. Sınıf Ana Sanat Atölye (Resim) dersinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kavram ağı, altı şapkalı düşünme tekniği, yaratıcılık grubu ve işbirlikli öğrenme adlı aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin 6 haftalık süreçte uygulanması ile sınırlandırılmıştır.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2. sınıf öğrencilerinden oniki kişilik bir grup ve bağımsız gözlemci olarak araştırmaya katkı sağlayan iki alan uzmanı oluşturmuştur. Çalışma grubunun belirlenmesinde `tipik durum örneklemi` nden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri; öğrencilerle yapılan odak grup görüşmeleri, gözlem ve dokümanlar (öğrenci ürünleri, öz değerlendirme yazıları ve sanatsal çalışmaları değerlendirme yönergesi) yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Süreç sonunda ortaya çıkan sanatsal çalışmaların değerlendirilmesinde üç alan uzmanından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Nitel bulguların geçerliliği ve güvenirliği araştırmacı dışında alandan iki uzmanın yardımıyla ve iç-dış geçerlilik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarıyla sağlanmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucuna göre; kullanılan aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin sanat atölye ders sürecinde düşünce çeşitliliğini artırmada, yeni kavramların ve farklı fikirlerin üretilmesinde etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan kavram ağı tekniğinin derinlemesine düşünmeye olanak sağladığı, altı şapkalı düşünme tekniğinin bir konu üzerinde çok yönlü fikirler üretmede, yaratıcılık grubu tekniğinin öğrencileri benzetmeler ve çağrışımlar yoluyla ıraksak düşünmeye teşvik etmede ve işbirlikli öğrenme tekniğinin de etkileşim yoluyla fikirlerin zenginleştirilmesi anlamında düşünme ve yeni fikirler üretmede zorlayıcı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu çerçevede, sanat atölye derslerinde ve okullarda sanat sınıflarında aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin kullanımına yönelik bir plânlama yapılması ve görsel sanatlar öğretmen adaylarına ders süreçleri içerisinde aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin kullanımına yönelik donanımlı bir eğitimin verilebilmesi önerilmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Sanat Eğitimi, Sanatsal Öğrenme, Yaratıcılık, Sanatsal Yaratma, Aktif Öğrenme.
