The tobacco, which was brought to our country by the traders of the Britain in the early 17th century, began to spread quickly among the Ottoman society. In the Ottoman Empire, tobacco was smoked through a three-piece tool consisting of a ringlet, a rod and an imame. Within the scope of this thesis, among the small findings uncovered in the scientific excavations carried out in Bitlis Castle between the years 2011-2015, 155 tobacco fibres were evaluated within the ceramic group which were also included in the study. The Aim of the Research: The typology material and technical characteristic of the tobacco nozzles in Bitlis Castle have been determined as being examined and evaluated in terms of measurements and decoration elements. The main aim of our thesis is to examine the subjects covered in the thesis by the art history method and to bring them in science world. The first stage of the methodology of this thesis study is the literature review. Theses, books and articles have been tried to be reached in the libraries and research centres related to the subject and all available sources can be examined in detail. In the second stage of the study, the ringtone inventory books in Ahlat Museum were scanned and the subjects were examined and preliminary preparation was made for the study. The third stage of the study consists of the catalogue section. At this stage, the period, dimensions, dough etc. information of the nozzles arranged in a typological order were represented and their definitions were made. In the last stage of the study, general evaluation was made under the headings of the typologies, material and techniques, material and production areas.
