In the second section, the definitions and the explanations about thevariables of the study were given and the history, scope and dimensions of salesmanagement control systems were evaluated. In the third section of the study, datarelated with the methodology of the research were given. The data collection method, the questionnaires used in this study and statistical analyses and results werediscussed also in this section. The results of factor analyses, correlation analysis andregression analyses conducted for testing the research hypotheses and that are relatedwith the data gathered from the firms operating in the drug industry in Turkey wereexplained. The hypotheses proposed in this study are tested using the data collectedfrom 561 salespersons in 129 drug firms operating in Turkey. In the final part the general results of the research and suggestions formanagers and future studies were provided.
