It is inevitable to experience political, military, socio-cultural and economic developments in the regions where historical events and phenomena are experienced. Researching the history of the regions in the micro sense will facilitate the understanding of the history of the states and the world in the macro sense. The compass is the main criterion that will lead a ship's captain to its destination in the oceans. The main criterion that will enable a historian to reach his goals in order to investigate the history of the region and establish the historical link between the past and the future is the documents he applies. Documents (sources), findings are the historian's compass. It is seen that historical events and facts affect each other in the cause-effect relationship in the light of documents. The subject of our research is the register of Behisni Sharia, which covers the dates of Rumi No. 198, 1317-1321 (Gregorian 1901-1905). At that time, the Behisni accident (which is connected to our district of Adıyaman), which is connected to the Sanjak of Elazığ province, has been determined regarding the legal, social, cultural and economic conditions of our region. The transcription and evaluation of the Sharia records of the Behisni region did not reveal any major political and military events. The documents refer to the witnesses of men and women in the presence of witnesses whose mutual consent is based on pre-determined river conditions. The importance of women's place in social life is also mentioned. During these periods, it was seen that there were no conflicts between the non-Muslim population and the people of the Muslim Behisni region, and that the people lived in peace and peace. Gregorian 1901-1905 years, the Ottoman sultan 2 Abdulhamid Han coincided with the period in power. The delicate attitude of the administration mechanism and the Muslim community on religious matters is also reflected in the documents. Court processes, the economic structure of the region, the relationship between Muslim and non-Muslim people, foundations, inheritance sharing and the values of the goods in question, local structuring were determined. The Sharia Registers, which constitute the compass of our research, are valuable documents that are the sources of history in these respects.
