Prof. Dr. Veyis DE?ÎRMENÇAY SafawT State which was founded by Shah îsmail in the 16th century and covered Eastern Anatolia, Azerbaijan and Western Iran has taken its name from the founder of SafawT sect, Sheikh Safiyuddin Ardabill (BC. 735/1335). According to the official family tree, SafawT race states that they are Arabs and their race goes to the seventh Imam, Musa Kazım, among 12 Imams and then to Ali b. Ebu Talib and finally to the Prophet. The period of SafawTs is an important one in the Iranian history which affected the following eras with its good and bad sides. The geography of Iran which was a part of great Empires or a divided place in the hands of small dynasties throughout ancient ages has reached a separate political identity with SafawTs for the very first time in the history of Islam. The main factor in this process is the adoption of the excessive Shiah beliefs by SafawTs, which are based on the love of the Twelve Imams, as their state policy and to impose this to the geography of Iran. SafawTs based the national freedom of Iran on the Shiism principles and raised them. Fasîhî-yi Haravî, who grew up in this period started writing poems at his early ages in Herat and became well known in a short time and had a close relationship with the people occupying high positions in Herat and Horasan. He praised them in his poems. Fasîhî lived in Hüseyin Han Şamlu's area and the border of Hasan Han Şamlu's sovereignty in Horasan. He became one of the people for whom Hasan Han Şamlu has respect and a distinguished person in Horasan. Fasîhî's poems are fluent, strong and mostly in the form of poems written by the masters of word from Horasan. To be drowned in the ironic contents and to relinguish some words in explaining the content are not seen in his lines. He used every chosen sense and humor fluently and clearly and transfered his thoughts to his lines without using complex and closed compositions. In our study named `Fasîhî-yi Haravî`, His Life, the Text of His Divan with its Comparisons and Analysis', the historical, political and literal situations in the period of SafawTs are presented in the first chapter and his life and literal personality are given in the second chapter. In the third chapter, we tried to analyse Fasîhî-yi Haravî's Dîvân. In the fourth chapter containing the final section of our work we give the text with its comparisons.

Safevîler, İranlılar' in millî bağımsızlıklarının esasını Şiîlik temelleri üzerine kurdu ve yükselttiler.
