Boyabat district of Sinop is a town where traces of migrations from village to city can be traced. As in many parts of Anatolia, Boyabat has been an important source of livelihood in the pre-industrial rural settlement and a region dominated by family business. The circle, which manifests itself as a headscarf, shows the cultural heritage value due to the diversity of its social meanings and motifs. Motif has taken its meanings from the way of living, traditions and customs of society. The colors used in weaving, the way the circle is connected, the meaning of the motifs and the circle are non-verbal means of communication, and they contain clues about the identity of women in society. Industrialization gave birth to migrations with the effect of changing and developing world and agriculture and weaving gave way to industrialization. With this change, the use of fabricated products as a headscarf to decrease the production of the circle decreased the daily use of the circle from rural to urban areas and gave it new usage areas. In this study, it has been tried to explain the new meanings that these new uses gained. The study which was prepared by field research method was supported with photographs. As a result of interviews with Boyabat Municipality, Public Education Center, Museums and performers, its transfer has been examined from past to present. During the interviews with the performers, the construction of the hoop, the materials used, the difficulties encountered in the transfer and the opinions of the performers on the subject were given.
