Jean-Philippe Toussaint, a Belgian writer, who has added new dimensions into literature with his extraordinary novels. Toussaint whose novels have been turned into screenplay as well has achieved to be one of the most well-known writers both offering stylistic innovations in his novels and also reflecting form-style compatibility simultaneously with his formal approach. The aim of this work is to present the structure of the literary texts which are produced by minimalist approach in post-modern world and to show stylistically the prominent thematic observable principals based on the similar works in this approach. In this point of view, Jean-Philippe Toussaint's novels, `Camera` (L'Appareil Photo) and `Monsieur`, the main subject of this research, are important literary works among which are created according to form-style compatibility.By emphasizing on the similar subjects in his novels, Toussaint aims to be one of the writers who successfully guide his era. In his mentioned two novels above, he tries to reflect the cultural signs of post-modernist and minimalist life by critical approach. To understand this literary culture closely, post-modern minimalist approaches which constitute the main reason behind the emergence of this type of research were introduced and considered. By this way, a tree structure of the complexities from the roots to the contradictions and reductions up through the trunk and simplicities extended out to the branches of post-modern minimalist literary culture was presented.
