Faik Âli Ozansoy who started his literary life with Servet-i Fünûn Literary trend has been brought up with the close consern and train of his father Said Paşa and his elder brother üleyman Nazif who were poets also. His poems have been started to be published in the Servet-i Fünûn magazine in his yound age by them and with the affection of his literary environment which formed owivng to them. He was the first president of Fecr-i Âtî literary society. Howewer he, like the other members of Fecr-i Âtî society he hasn't receded from language and style of Servet-i Fünûn Even it has been felt the traces of this trend in the works which he created during the Republic period. Faik Âli was born in Diyarbakır in 1876 and died in Ankara in 1950. Every period of his 74-year old life has been kneaded with poem and literature. Because; the son of Faik Âli who had a poet father and a poet brother, Munis Faik Ozansoy was also a poet. Faik Âli, Ozansoy has collected his poems in three books. These are called in order; `Fanı Teselliler`, `Temâsil`, and `Elhân-ı Vatan`. Except these he has also two poem books `MithatPaşa Manzûmes,` and `Şâir-i A'zâma Mektup Manzumesi`. His poems of Âli Faik who had these poems published separately, in the magazines hadn't been able to be collected properly. His poems had been published in the magazines called. Servet-i Fünûn, Rübâb, Güneş, Genç Kalemler and Marmara. He has collected the poems which were published in the magazines in his books by himself. IllExcept his poems he has also two dramas which were engrossed in poem style. These works called `Payitahtın Kapısında` and `Nedîm ve Lâle Devri` have been written to be read not to be played as her also accepted time by time. For this reason these two works remain weak from the point of play technique. Faik Âli Ozansoy has like the poets Fuzulî, Nâbî and Nedîm whom belong to Divan Literature; but he has been affected by only Nedîm. He has been affected by the New litteratures Nâmık Kemâl, Recâizâde Mahmut Ekrem and especially Abdlühak Hâmit. But he hasn't reached the high sound of Nâmık Kemâl's homeland poems and to the feeling and metaphysics thoughts in Abdülhak Hâmit's poems. In his poems `love and nature` with `family life` which are the themes of Servet-i Fünûn literature are predominated. He has given place the themes related with homeland in his book called `Elhân-ı Vatan.` Faik Âli, who doesn't leave the Servet-i Fünûn from the point theme he is dependent to this style from the point of language and style. He has used compounds a lot. His language is quite bombastic time by time. However he has some very plain poems and verses which he engrossed. In his poemps related with the themes love, nature and family life he has used `sonnet` style. Together with very often he has given place `serbest müstezat` style in his poems with the same themes. But we can see that he hasn't used a specific poetry denomination in his homeland poems. As a result Faik Âli Ozansoy is a poet who is dependent to Servet-i Fünûn style either from the point of theme, or from or language and style.

Onların ve onlar sayesinde oluşan edebî çevresinin etkisiyle genç yaşta Servet-i Fünûn Dergisi'nde şiirleri yayınlanmaya başlamıştır. Fecr-i Âti edebi topluluğunun ilk başkanıdır. Ancak diğer Fecr-i Âti topluluğuna mensup olanlar gibi o da Servet-i Fünûn'un dil ve üslûbundan uzaklaşamamıştır. Bunlardan başka iki manzumesi daha vardır: `Mithat Paşa Manzumesi` ve `Şâir-i A'zâm'a Mektup Manzumesi`. Ancak Nâmık Kemâl'in vatan şiirlerindeki yüksek sese, Abdülhak Hâmid'in şiirlerindeki hislere ve metafizik düşüncelere ulaşamamıştır.
