RESEARCH ON THE V OLONCELLO PART TURS OF THEWORKS WHICH WERE PERFORMED BY THE STUDENT ORCHESTRAACCORDING TO THE VARIATIONS THAT TAKE PLACE IN THEOTOKAR SEVCIK OP. 2, 5 STUDIES(THESIS FOR MASTERS DEGREE)GAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGYABSTRACTThis research has been done by the purpose of comparing the violoncellopartiturs according to the bow techniques that belongs to the works performed by theGUGEF Music Education Departure?s study orchestra in the years 2001 and 2002with the variations that is placed in the study of O. Sevcik op. 25 and to concrete therelationship between them according to the motional behaviors.In the research, the sub problems just as the orchestra/chamber music lesson?sactivities; the determination of the repertoire of the license orchestra which is formeddue to that lesson; the investigation of the violoncello partiturs according to the righthand techniques and the motional behaviors which are necessary to perform theseparts are examined.The research is a descriptive study by its aim and by the quality of the datathat is observed and gathered for that aim.In the research by the method of study analyze, the content analyze of OSevcik?s op 25 numbered study has been done. The 260 variations?, which are placedin the study, motional behaviors are determined and concreted according to themodern education programme. The priority target behaviors of the study areclassified by the relative variations as well as subjects and expressed as the studytypes.However, in the research the works that are performed by the studentorchestra of GUGEF Music Education Departure in the years 2001 and 2002 arefixed and the 28 works, whose violoncello partiturs are reached, are compared withthe fifth study variations which have some similar properties according to their bowtechniques.In the 28 works, which are researched according to the bow techniques,different bow techniques and right hand behaviors are determined. The bowtechniques in the works are presented as table according to the number of measures.To sum up, in the GUGEF Music Education Departure all of the basic bowtechniques in the violoncello of the works, that are performed by license third andfourth class students? student orchestra which has been formed according to theeducation activities of orchestra/ chamber music lesson, are determined. The levelthat the violoncello students must be according to the bow techniques is concreted byconsidering the repertoire of 2001 and 2002. It is thought that the similarities, thatare fixed according to the motional behaviors, between the violoncello partiturs andO Sevcik?s number five study variations and the wideness of the function area of thestudy is concreted.

Sevcikop.2 5 numaralı etütte yer alan varyasyonların; yay teknikleri açısındankarşılaştırılarak devinişsel davranışlar açısından aralarındaki ilişkilerinsomutlaştırılması amacı ile yapılmıştır.Araştırmada, Orkestra/Oda müziği dersi etkinlikleri; bu ders kapsamındaoluşturulan lisans orkestrasının dağarının tespit edilmesi, viyolonsel partilerinin sağel teknikleri açısından incelenmesi ve bu partileri seslendirebilmek için gerekli olandevinişsel davranışların neler olduğu alt problemleri incelenmiştir.Araştırma, taşıdığı amaç ve bu amaca uygun olarak izlenen ve toplananverilerin niteliği açısından betimsel bir çalışmadır.Araştırmada etüt analizi yöntemi ile O. Sevcik'in op.2 5 numaralı etüdüniçerik analizi yapılmıştır. Etütte yer alan 260 varyasyonun içerdiği devinişseldavranışlar saptanarak; çağdaş öğretim programı ekseninde somutlaştırılmıştır.Etüdün öncelikli hedef davranışları ilgili varyasyonlarla konulara göre sınıflandırılıpçalışma biçimleri olarak ifade edilmiştir. Araştırmada ayrıca 2001 ve 2002 yıllarındaGÜGEF Müzik Öğretmenliği Bölümü öğrenci orkestrasının seslendirdiği eserlersaptanarak viyolonsel partilerine ulaşılan 28 eser içerdiği yay teknikleri açısındanbenzer özellikler taşıyan 5. Etüt varyasyonları ile karşılaştırılmıştır.Yay teknikleri açısından incelenen 28 eserde birbirinden farklı yay tekniklerive sağ el davranışları saptanmıştır. Eserlerdeki yay teknikleri, saptandıkları ölçüsayısına göre tablolaştırılarak sunulmuştur.Sonuç olarak; GÜGEF Müzik Öğretmenliği Bölümü'nde lisans 3. ve 4. sınıföğrencilerinin Orkestra/Oda Müziği dersi eğitim etkinlikleri doğrultusundaoluşturduğu öğrenci orkestrasının seslendirdiği eserlerde, viyolonseldeki temel yaytekniklerinin tümü saptanmıştır. Viyolonsel öğrencilerinin yay teknikleri açısındanolmaları gereken hazır bulunuşluk düzeyi 2001-2002 yılları dağarı göz önünealınarak somutlaştırılmıştır. Viyolonsel partileri ile O. Sevcik 5. etüt varyasyonlarıarasında devinişsel davranışlar açısından saptanan benzerlikler ile etüdün işlevalanının genişliğinin somutlaştırıldığı düşünülmektedir.
