Owing to improvement of communication and transmission technologies, a phenomenon called globalization arose. As a result of globalization; competition conditions became more challenging when compared to the past. Today the need for data increases day by day. Therefore, there exists the question how to access data the fastest. Now, instead of how much we are producing questions like what is the quality of our products? How much we profit from our products are on agenda.Information has gained a monetary value. Let?s consider this as follows; we are a business producing in great quantities but we cannot access the information of how much we profit. We do not know our receivables and debts to the markets. Even it takes a week for us to extract our income-expenditure balance for the next month from papers. It is hard for a business like this to survive today. The most minor crises to occur in general markets may prevent us from making our payments; cause us to experience liquidity troubles. However, businesses who plan, know receivables and debts of several future months may overcome such a crisis with a small loan.In this context, importance of information is addressed, an answer was tried to be found to the question namely, shall e-transformation facilitate management at information centers?, therefore by giving a definition of e-transformation, information center was considered with respect to management functions, e-transformation application was included in the study.

Günümüzde veriye duyulan ihtiyaç her geçen gün artmaktadır.
