The aim of this study is to indicate the types of music technologies, the level of the use of these technologies and the reasons for the use of these tecnologies and to indicate the views of the students and the university lecturers on the usage of music technologies in the division of teaching music license programs.This study is in the research modeling and includes the lecturers from the division of teaching music license programs and the students studying in this division. The samples consist of the university lecturers from the division of teaching music license programs and the 3rd and 4th grade students studying in this division in seven universities which are the oldest universities according to their establishment dates. In this study, the facility of music technology in the division of teaching music, the use of this facility, the distribution of the usage of this facility according to the lessons, the views about the usage of music technology, the reasons for the usage of music technology and advices on this subject are determined. The data obtained are compared and evaluated by using statistical methods in consistent with the aims of the study. As a consequence, the facility of music technology focuses on the lessons in which computer, internet and metronome are used and on both the individual instrument and the piano lessons and Musical Hearing Writing Reading and Contemporary /Popular Music lessons, however, it changes in other lessons. The findings in this study indicate that the facility of music technology focuses on certain means, the use of music technology in the lessons is variable, the views on the usage of music technology are positive and also the answers to the reasons for the usage of music are positive. In the light of these findings, concrete recommendations are made to make music technologies widespread in the lessons.Keywords: Technology and education, technology and music education, music technologies, music teaching and music technologies.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik öğretmenliği lisans programlarında kullanılan müzik teknolojisi türlerini ve bu teknolojilerin kullanım düzeylerini ve kullanım nedenlerini belirlemek ve müzik teknolojilerinin kullanımına yönelik öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci önerilerini tespit etmektir.Araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde olup; araştırmanın evrenini müzik öğretmenliği lisans programında görevli öğretim elemanları ve bu bölümlerde okuyan öğrenciler, örneklemini ise Türkiye'nin 7 bölgesinde, kuruluş yılına göre en eski olan 7 üniversitenin müzik öğretmenliği lisans programlarında görevli öğretim elemanları ile bu bölümlerde okuyan lisans 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada; müzik öğretmenliği lisans programlarında bulunan ve kullanılan müzik teknolojisi araç-gereçleri, bu teknolojilerin kullanım düzeyleri ve kullanım nedenleri tespit edilmiş olup, ayrıca, müzik teknolojilerinin kullanımına yönelik öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci görüşleri, derslerde müzik teknolojilerinin kullanım nedenleri ile bu konulardaki öneriler belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, araştırmanın amaçlarına uygun istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.Sonuç olarak, müzik öğretmenliği bölümlerinde müzik teknolojisi donanımının özellikle bilgisayar, internet erişimi ve metronomda yoğunlaştığı, derslerde kullanımının özellikle tüm dönemlerdeki Bireysel Çalgı ve Piyano dersleri ile, Müziksel İşitme Yazma Okuma ve Güncel/Popüler Müzikler derslerinde yoğunlaştığı, diğer derslerde dağınıklık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca müzik teknolojisinin kullanımına yönelik görüşlerin büyük çoğunluğunun hem öğretim elemanı hem de öğrenciler tarafından olumlu olmasının yanısıra, derslerde müzik teknolojisi kullanım nedenlerinin de olumlu olduğu saptanmıştır.
