Özet

In the study named `Abstracting and Expressing in Still Life`, the topic is crushed fruits. Based on the crushed fruits, the establishment of evocation is thought in the context of the sense of being trampled. New meaning was wanted to be added except its own meaning. Expressionist understanding was tried to be provided through abstracting. The resulting application products are a personal expression. In crushed still lifes, abstraction, expression, abstraction and expression have been systematically addressed by a sequence of works. The process is important to achieve abstraction. Its source is the nature. Therefore, it is important to investigate the etude of the object, in terms of comprehending the concrete. In the next stages, rich and subjective values are obtained by the details purified.Expression has emerged in the accompaniment of spontaneous color applications and its dynamism. The synthesis of abstraction and expression have been tried to be established by adopting two methods. In the first method, abstraction and expression practices were handled separately; in the direction of acquired experiences, the works were created in one run. In the second method, the massic form was first obtained by expressive coloring; then integrated onto with the abstractivist lines. As a result of the two methods, a unique language is thought to be created. The main logic for using crushed fruits is the will to strengthen the expression in that these fruits represent being oppressed. It is the source of plastic items. Deformations were by themselves.
