Alawite culture has developed as a part of Turkish culture on Anatolian land and it has spread to neighboring geographies. Knowing this culture better will contribute to understanding Turkish culture with all its aspects. In our society, there are various views about how Allah, Muhammad and especially Ali are perceived by Alawites. The ideas about some beliefs of Alawite culture that the rest of the society have has influenced the Turkish society to split into groups. Thus, beliefs and features of Alawite culture should be examined with scientific methods. This study researches God-Muhammad-Ali trinity which makes up the basis of Alawite culture and what the holy elements which form the basis of this trinity mean to Alawite Ashiks from Tokat. The study was conducted through reviewing the works of Alawite Ashiks from Tokat with tagging method and interpreting parts of poems about God-Muhammad-Ali in the light of some beliefs in Alawite culture. It was seen that of the poems in the study, the works which told about Allah made up approximately half of all the works. Besides, as well as examples which mentioned about Muhammad alone or Ali alone, there are also works which mention Muhammad and Ali together. As a result of the analyses conducted, a strong God and prophet belief was found in most of the Alawite ashiks. It was found that in ashiks' beliefs about Allah, mysticism was also effective as well as their general acceptance of Islam and in poems, the thought of mysticism was seen in subjects such as human value, divine love and nature of existence.viAshiks were found to have a strong faith in the prophecy of Muhammad and besides, they were found to have a deep respect and love for Muhammad since he was the ancestor of Huseyin the prophet. In most of the works analyzed, it was seen that Alawites believed Ali to be saint. While there were also poems which attributed deity features to Ali among the poems we analyzed, it can be seen that these examples did not reflect the general views of ashiks.
