Özet

This study titled as `The Problem of the Validity of Judaism and Christianity` is composed of three chapters apart from the Introduction chapter into which I propose the importance, aims and the followed methods of the investigation. In the first chapter, I studied the emergences and the historical courses of Judaism and Christianity which are asked whether they are valid according to the Qur'an or not.In the second chapter, I tried to think and making some remarks on the Quranic verses revealed during the twenty-three years of revelation in relation with these two religions and their members, following the revelation order corresponding their contextual conditions. Thus, the informations and analysis on the referenced events, applying to some other historical references, were collected in this chapter. The main frame of the study is the third chapter. Here, I tried to make an evaluation of, initially, the members of the two religions and their holy books in accordance with the Qur'anic verses. Then I tried to expose the Quranic evaluations of the two religions as religion.Coming to the last section of this chapter, treating some Qur'anic verses which has been considered as proofs to religious validity of Judaism and Christianity, I tried to find out the true and convenient one of the possible interpretations of these verses. At the same time, proposing a methodology of interpretation to apply in this issue, I tried to summarize my conclusions from such a study in the conclusion chapter.
