With the competition experienced in the logistics sector in our country and in the world, companies need to utilize the resources efficiently to sustain their existence in the market. For this reason, with the digital revolution in the industry, companies need to increase their quality and traceability while minimizing their costs by evolving their supply chain and logistics management. This thesis proposes a two-stage maturity model for assessing the level of adaptation of the companies in the logistics sector to the digital transformation process. Firstly, the experts were interviewed and the relevant literature was searched to determine the main and sub-criteria affecting the digital transformation of the logistics sector. The selected criteria were evaluated by the experts with the Best Worst Method (BWM) and the consistency levels were tested. Afterwards, for the assessment of the level of digital transformation, a questionnaire was applied to a deep-rooted enterprise with a thirty-seven-year experience in the supply chain and logistics sector. In the survey, the technology levels of the business units and the linkages between the departments were evaluated. A maturity score was obtained by multiplying the weights obtained by BWM in the first stage with the evaluations obtained in the questionnaire. The proposed model contributes to the relevant literature by proposing a maturity model specific to the logistics sector and using the BWM method in this study field for the first time.
