Changes in science and technology affect the expectations and personal spending of individuals. As a result of these expenses, a considerable consumption cycle is formed and individuals are constantly enjoying the pleasure of acquiring and owning new things. These behaviours also cause damage to the environment.Devices that have completed their life cycle or that the user no longer uses are defined as e-waste for various reasons. According to this definition, Computer, Fax, copiers, printing circuits, cables, etc.all electrical and electronic products are rated in this class. This study e-waste management in Turkey and in the world, has announced that applications are made in this context. The national and international legislation on e-wastes has been examined and the existing processes related to waste have been transferred in various countries of the world, especially in European countries.Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment which was prepared on the subject in Turkey Control examined the existing regulations, the in Turkey, industry and sophistication with high Sakarya, Istanbul's Sisli Kocaeli province, annual data held in facilities located in Kadıköy and Maltepe was transferred. In addition, studies on waste electrical and electronic equipment in Kayseri province were examined in detail and waste data were shared. As a result, according to the Global Situation Report prepared in 2016, it is concluded that the amount of e-waste in the world is at most 7211 kg in China. This amount is followed by USA with 6295 pounds and Japan with 2139 pounds.while Turkey ranks 17th with 623 tons of weight. In addition to this, it was found that Sweden is the best country in the world in terms of e-waste, and the biggest factor is the coordination between a public and stakeholder participating in e-waste management. In addition, it is understood that there are serious problems regarding e-waste in countries such as India and Africa, and that illegal recycling of e-waste is realized in these countries.Although the regulations published in 2012 about the e-waste management in Turkey has not yet been fully implemented, but this issue has been identified that there are gradations.2012-2017 years in the provinces in Turkey collected e-waste, e-waste processing plants were examinedAs a result of these investigations, it was determined that the highest amount of e-waste was in industrial zones. In 2017, the highest amount of e-waste was collected in Kocaeli with 35,864 tons. The amount of e-waste per capita was also examined in line with the regulation, it was found that it was far from the targeted number. The closest amounts to the target belongs to Kadıköy district and it is between 0.20-0.25 kg.Collection of e-waste processing in Turkey, and fractionating the residue were determined by reference to the form of the installation concerned. It is understood that there is no work especially in the recovery of precious metals and these parts are exported to countries abroad. Therefore, the scope of work performed in our country in comparison with the situation in other countries Turkey made a good project to work and what kind of e-waste management are analyzed it should have presented various suggestions.Key words: E-Waste, E-Waste Management, Waste Electrical and electronic equipment.
