Among all learning/teaching methods `learning by doing` method has been preferred in architecture education due to its nature. Architectural design studios can be described as both the heart and brain of education; it is designed as an environment where students can discuss new theories, ideas, and learn materials. Nowadays, as digital design and production methods are integrated into architectural design studios, students can experience what they have designed in a virtual environment and can easily choose the best among the options. Thanks to these tools and environments, which require them to design the production process at the design stage, the learning action continues and students can experience innovative tectonics with the prototypes they produce. Experimental structures (pavilions) are used in architectural education as well as in the discipline of architecture. Although there is a difference in scale, they guide the connections between reflections in practice. In this context, it can be said that the design examples in which the approach of learning by doing is the best result in architectural education are the experimental structures produced by students. In this study, it has been tried to answer the question of how the experimental structures produced by students by using learning method contribute to architectural education. It has been questioned how the learning approach can be a research and learning area in architectural education through 14 application examples produced in recent years.
