In the latest report published by the European Occupational Health and Safety Agency, one of the most important problems that adversely affect the business life and the quality of life of the employees is musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs) that occur due to ergonomic risks. According to Turkish Statistical Institute data, the number of office workers using computers at work has reached 92.3%, with this increase, some discomforts on users and skeletal muscle have been shown to occur. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of ergonomics on quality of life in office workers. In this study, a questionnaire was applied to 40 personnel, aged between 18-53, in the additional service building of Kartal Municipality. 'Life Form Short Scale' (Short Form 36-SF 36) was used for quality of life, REBA questionnaire was used for posture analysis and Computer Workstation Evaluation Form (OSHA) was used for ergonomic evaluation of the environment. In the analysis of the data, t-test was used to determine the differences between the two means. OSHA results used for ergonomic evaluation of work environments were found 30. Those with a REBA score of 2 or 3 make up 37.5% of the participants. Those with a REBA score of 4 to 7 make up 62.5% of the participants. The average of physical function of the employees is 84.575%, the average of social functionality is 75%, the average of mental health is 69%, the average of physical role difficulty is 80.875%, the average of emotional role difficulty is 81.562%, the average of energy / vitality / vitality is 64.300%, the average of body pain is 77.312% and the average of general health was found to be 69,075%.As a result, in this study it was observed that the office environment was ergonomically designed and the quality of life of the employees was generally high. It can be concluded that the ergonomics of the office environment is not only effective in the discomfort and quality of life caused by the musculoskeletal system of employees, and their quality of life can be increased by increasing their ergonomic training and physical activity.
