In this study, a new generation of 4-cylinder 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged diesel engine was tested at three different injection pressures and three different engine water temperatures. In all test measurements, the amount of fuel injected during the combustion process, the pre-injection timing, the main injection timing, the pre- and main injection sprayed fuel quantities, the absorbed air pressure and the engine speed are fixed in the calibration strategy. As test steps, 93.4, 103.4 and 113.4 MPa fuel pressure points and 90'C, 60 ,C and 40 veC engine water temperatures were selected and a total of 9 different regimens were tested. From the results obtained by analyzing the test results, NOX, CO, CO2, Is, Average indicated pressure, average effective pressure, exergy efficiency, energy efficiency, exhaust losses, exhaust exhaustion, cooling losses, cooling exergy, intercooler losses, intercooler exergy, engine block losses, motor block exergy were examined comparatively. When the results were examined, a significant increase in the combustion temperature was observed at the test points where the fuel injection pressure was increased at constant engine water temperature. At the fixed fuel injection pressure points, the combustion temperature is decreased in the test point where the engine water temperature is lowered. NOX emissions increased due to increased combustion temperature. It has been observed that the NOX emissions caused by the increase in fuel injection pressure can be reduced to a small extent by reducing the engine water temperature at the selected test points. In Exergy category, the highest amount is exhaust exergy value. When the results are considered, it is seen that there is still energy potential on the exhaust which can be recovered.
