Energy issue has a very important place in today's conditions and the concept of energy efficiency is increasingly increasing. Turkey, which annually consumes coal, oil and natural gas is imported 70% of the amount of energy. Energy efficiency law was enacted in 2007 for the efficient use of these resources based on imports. With this law, the procedures and principles to be applied for the production, transmission, distribution and consumption stages of energy, industrial enterprises, buildings, increasing energy efficiency in transportation and improving energy awareness throughout the society have been determined. The Energy Performance Regulation (BEP) in the buildings prepared based on this law came into force in 2007. According to the BEP regulation, if the total usage area of the building is greater than 2000 m2, total central heating system bin is required. With this regulation, the use of combi boilers that meet the heating and domestic hot water needs of the buildings is restricted and alternatives such as boilers, heat exchangers, hot water tanks have been raised for the use of hot water in the central heating system. In general, domestic water is met by the domestic hot water tank. The major disadvantages of this system are the high pipe costs of the boiler line and the heat losses from the pipelines. In recent years, alternative heat stations `have been used as an alternative to the boiler system for domestic hot water. Especially in high-rise buildings, heat station applications are preferred. The heat station is a multifunctional unit, which is installed in each apartment in buildings heated by the central system, which prepares the domestic hot water with the principle of sudden heating and provides control of the heating system. Heat stations have become a new alternative in the field of domestic hot water with the advantages of comfort, health, operation and maintenance. In this thesis; In case of meeting the hot water demand of the central heating system of a high-rise building, techno-economic analysis of all systems was made by comparing three different hot water systems (boiler and heat station system applications). At the end of the study, depending on the number of apartments of the building, both the initial investment cost and the operating cost of the heat station applied system were saved when compared to the boiler system.
