Demand forecasting is the process of calculating the demand for a product or service for a certain period of time with as little deviation as possible. In the last years, demand forecasting has provided many benefits in the retail, manufacturing, service and information technology sectors. In the service-selling sectors, demand and sales are concepts that are close to each other. This thesis is written to develop the demand forecasting model for the data center sector and analyze it on a sample private institution. In the study, researches on data center products, demand components and estimation methods have been examined and explained. It is a hybrid estimation model which is developed on the concept of basic decomposition method and seasonality of the work. After the model is developed, it is applied on private institution and error tolerance ratios are also calculated. As a result of the study, it is verified that the time series is predominantly seasonal, and when the error rates of the algorithm and estimation method output developed for this purpose are examined, the study can be used in the next period.
