This study mainly focuses on the traces of anthropomorphic deities in Greek mythology in Christianity. Christianity has gradually changed and developed under the influence of the environment in which it was found. In this way, Christianity has become a syncretic structure and has become a cosmopolitan religion as a result of the combination of different cultures. This research examines reference books. As a result of our study, we have not come across any study on the effects of the anthropomorphic understanding of God in Greek mythology on the understanding of God in Greek mythology on the understanding of God ın Christianity, although there are many sources explaining that the understanding of God in Christianity was influenced by the traditions and gods that preceded it. In our study, the scattered information related to our subject was tried to be presented as a whole. Christianity forms a doctrine which is called Trinity. Jesus is of the centre of this trilogy. There are several approaches in sources which talk about Jesus. According to Christian theologians were influential and according to it, Jesus was a historical figure and a god without mythological elements. According to some of those approaches, Jesus is a mythological figure composed of the mythical heroes and caracteristics of the cultures before him. In our thesis, we preferred the myhological Jesus. The aim of this study is to show how and to what anthropomorphic understanding of god in Greek mythology influences Christian understanding of God. However, since the subject area is wide, only the gods and their influences which we think have the most influence on the understanding of God in Christianity in Greece are discussed.

Teslis'in merkezinde İsa bulunmaktadır.
