Özet

The theory of extensions of symmetric operators is one of the main research areas of operator theory. Some definitions and theorems based on this theory are given in the second section. In the third section, self adjoint extension of a symmetric operator is constructed. In the fourth section, the notions of a space of boundary value and linear relations are defined. On that basis maximal dissipative and self adjoint extensions of a symmetric differential operator are described in terms of boundary conditions. In the fifth section, a space of boundary value for fourth order differential operator is constructed. A description of all maximal dissipative, accretive, self adjoint and other extensions of fourth order differential operator is given in terms of boundary conditions.Key Words: Symmetric operators, self adjoint operators, dissipative operators, accretive operators, a space of boundary value, boundary conditions, indices defect, linear relation.2011, 74 pages.
