Computers and microprocessors have changed much of electrical-electronicsengineering education as well as changing the traditional experimental sets in highereducation. When digital computers and various software and hardware tools are used inlaboratories and classrooms, they can provide much more effective and efficientenvironments in teaching and learning periods and make many problems to beunderstood easily. This research thesis aimed to design a computer-based applicationand measurement console which has capable of measurement, control, introductoryinformation for the experiments and simulation of electronic-based systems to makestudents more focused on results, concepts, relations to theories,In the first chapter of the thesis which consists of four chapters, traditional andcomputer based experimental systems for electrical-electronic engineering wereintroduced. In the second chapter, the circuit building blocks and user software of the designedconsole were introduced. In the third chapter, sample experiments using designed console for the graduate andundergraduate education programs in electrical and electronics engineering were given. Results obtained in thesis work were discussed and evaluated in the last chapter. Keywords: Computer Assisted Education, Electronic Measurement Systems, ComputerAided Measurement, Computer Aided Control, Experiment Module Design.
