This study aims to create a practice in the pharmaceuticals sector for calculating return on investment of the training programs used by corporations, which are developed with huge investments. The ROI model of Jack Philips is used for the assessment of the ?2009-2010 Stars Team Leadership Development Program?, which was developed to enhance the leadership progress of Bilim Pharma employees, in order to determine the contribution of the training programs to the development and profitability of organizations. The ROI model is examined in this study and it is determined, how to implement these assessment steps into the Bilim Pharma Stars Team Program. The training program, which consists of an average of eight days of in-class training and 4-6 days project implementation phase, is applied to a test group of 52 people (STARS TEAM) and to a control group with the same profile attributes. Other factors, which might affect the results, are considered in the study and four members of the STARS TEAM, which were affected by these factors, are excluded from the study. At the end of the study, all stages of the Phillips? Model were used as a five-step assessment method and a progress in the positive direction is recorded in the results of all steps. An attitude change in positive direction with %16.97 and an average increase in performance with %4,29 are observed in the study. It is revealed that the sales force, which represent %67 of the participants, has showed an improvement of %38 in market share. Profitability is calculated according to these rates by determining TL differences for each control group. The return of the program is determined as %2830,65 by calculating the total cost and net profitability of the program with the ROI method. Keywords: Training evaluation, Training programe, ROI.
