Smart environments at which human computer interactions are highest standard are being improved with the help of the fourth generation of computing and information technology development. In this environments, the principal is identifying and verifying the individual and today password/ pin systems are commonly used to realize this aim. The situations such as forgetting or being stolen the password have caused focusing on researches on the biometric systems using for physical characteristics of individuals. In this study, a costumer face identifier system with real time video images is presented and a smart environment at which the face biometric identifier is used is constituted to be used in marketing area , especially that need higher satisfaction of customers. The system was planned to work integratedly with a kiosk and with the help of this study the advantages and the disadvantages of face characteristic that is used for customer identifier application are aimed at being revealed. Face technologies and face identifier algorithms using in this system are elective among the systems existing or being developed recently, affecting the face identification area mostly. With this study an innovation intended for practise is being formed .The system is constituted on the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) .The transferring of the result of costumer identification to a system output application preferred by the system manager such as determining the last visiting date or responding with greeting loud voice message can be provided. After this working, output scenarios that can be made up by using a face object in a face identifier application using in marketing area and the consequences are evaluated. By aid of these results revealing the capability of the elevating of the kiosk face identifier system to a real environment application, the system is envisioned for being a preliminary study for other studies will be done in future.
