The logistics sector in our country is a young sector that has developed in recent years. The fact that Turkey is an important logistics transfer center between Asia and Europe requires Turkey to be a logistic hub. Today, as sustainable growth becomes important, logistics centers have become an important means of providing a `strategic competitive advantage` for the regions in which they have been established as clusters of all logistics activities. TCDD started to work in 2005 for the implementation of logistics centers accepted as the base of modern freight transport in Turkey. As a result of the studies done, 21 logistics centers are planned. It is an important question whether these logistics centers operate effectively. In this study, it is aimed to conduct the performance analysis of logistics centers that were commissioned by TCDD. The performance of logistics centers has been determined via data envelopment analysis. In the data envelopment analysis, the output-oriented BCC model was used. In practice, the performance of logistics centers has been evaluated from operational and financial perspectives for 2015 and 2016. According to the specified input-output clusters, two different models were set up. As a result of the study, by determining the effective and ineffective aspects of TCDD logistics centers, same suggestions have been made regarding the centers to be operated more effective and efficiently.
