Özet

Two most important concepts of Albert Camus are the absurd and the rebellion. The Idea of Camus is based on a transition from the absurdity point of view to the rebellion. This thought system that constituted from the transition path separates into two parts; `the absurd` (the absurd of life) and `the rebellion` (the rebellion of life) as a negation of the absurdity. `The idea of the death` is most crucial element of these two parts. `The death` is the most important sources in meaningless of the life and thus in emergence of the absurd state. `The suicide` and `the hope` as an escape path from the emergent absurd state -solution- are negation elements in Camus idea. In second period, on the other hand, negation of the emergent absurd life, in other words negation of the death, comes true with the rebellion attitude. This study investigates the death in Camus idea relating a link among the absurd, the suicide, the hope, and the rebellion, which are essential concepts of Camus idea, and the idea of the death.
