Özet

Due to the development of the industry and to meet the growing demand in the sectors, technology is developing with an increasing momentum. The aviation sector is one of them. In addition to manufacturing fuel-saving, lighter and more compact structures, the design work of motors and equipment with the highest performance and high efficiency continues. For this reason, examination of the systems in terms of exergy has become important. In this study, thermodynamic analysis was performed for 0 –11 000 m altitude values for the constant flight speed (M = 0,8) of the environmental control system in the aircraft and the exergy efficiencies was calculated. According to calculations made, the highest rate of efficiency was found 44,45% at 11 000 m. while the lowest exergetic efficiency was obtained at 0 m. as 44,05%. The highest exergy destruction was 144,17 kW at 0 m., and the lowest exergy destruction of the system was found as 106,56 kW for 11 000 m. When entropy production is examined, the lowest entropy production is calculated at 11 000 m altitude with a value of 0,492 kW / K, and the highest entropy production is at 0 m. was calculated as 0,5 kW / K.
