In this study, firstly, the effects of increasing financial integration on both consumption and capital flows in the developing countries are examined. For the analysis, NOEM small open economy model is improved by adding borrowing constraint to the model. The solutions of the model are derived through simulation method. According to the results, financial integration increases capital flows into developing countries but decreases consumption level. In addition, financial integration increases the capital flows-to- consumption ratio in developing countries. This result is consistent with the historic data of big developing countries like Turkey, South Africa, and China. In the second part, the effects of international financial integration on macroeconomic volatilities in developing countries are analyzed over the period 1980-2014. In the econometric analysis, the following results are reported: Firstly, financial openness decreases output volatilities. Secondly, it increases consumption volatilities. Thirdly, trade openness does not have any impact on macroeconomic volatilities. Finally, financial development increases both output and consumption volatilities. In the third part, the effects of increasing automation in the production process on the labor share of income are analyzed. Firstly, the examination of historical labor shares of income data in developing and developed countries shows that labor share of income has been decreasing in both group of countries. Then, in the analysis part in which DSGE model is used, the investment specific technological shock given to capital accumulation process and education shock given to human capital accumulation process are added to the model to improve it. In the simulation part, the magnitude of the shocks are defined such that technological shock given to the physical capital is bigger than the education shock given to the human capital and the positive difference between shocks is augmented to detect the effects of increasing automation on labor share of income. The results show that increasing shock difference decreases labor share of income and this confirms the decline of labor share of income seen in both developed and developing countries since 1980s.
