In this work, the exposure of the 17th century political life on the classical Turkish poetry is put forth. In the political frame of that century, the events in the front or at the back are emphasized. Since the events happened at a peak level, there has been an obligation to evaluate this area in a wide range. Since an event seems to trigger another one, a detailed resource scanning has been done.Poets wrote some pieces and presented them to the key personals at the government. As a result they were awarded with câize or official position. The poets who had written in a criticizing way, who had written for someone in an insulting way while writing for the others in a flattering way dismissed from their positions and even some of them were killed. The psychological, social, economical, physiological structure of the persons on duty at the governmental positions seemed to become parallel to their personalities. Thus, since some of the poets? criticizing sides were more affective and were known for their hicvs, like Nef?î, while some others left the world things behind, chose the hikemî style like Nâbi. The outher pressures has always been a subject for the poetry. So, instead of evaluating the period in a vicious cycle, the outer events and the relation of those events with the other people has also been examined. To give meaning to the political and military terms among the reaya-poet-scientists triangle, is done by combining them with the couplets. The reasons of bribery, favoritism, replacement and similar events have been investigated and at the end the struggle to get a seat has been found out. That the governmental seats were given to invaluable people for money has also occurred around this problem. The victories, conquers, the wars and peaces the pashas lived, from one side helped the Sultans to gain power and provided money for the financial stocks as the head of the community and on the other side those were taken in to the couplets. Odes, fetihnames, culusiyes, medhiyes and besaretnames (all are literal written works) were put on paper to inform the people from every area about those happy events. In this work, it is examined how the XVII century poets evaluated that periods political life in the Classical Turkish Poetry. Keywords : Ancient Turkish Literature, Ottoman, Poet , Poem, XVIII Century Political History.
